<![CDATA[David Bowens]]>post-275-1288111843_thumb.jpgSundays's game and TD returns by David Bowens reminded me of a game from 1993 when Linebacker David Brandon returned an interception 92 yards for a TD. I was in the Dawg Pound that day as we beat Chicago. Got that same feeling this week after a big win.]]>https://brownsboard.com/topic/16481/david-bowensRSS for NodeThu, 01 Oct 2026 16:30:05 GMTTue, 26 Oct 2010 16:51:59 GMT60<![CDATA[Reply to David Bowens on Wed, 27 Oct 2010 20:14:09 GMT]]>He got defensive player of the week.

This is what every coach does. Let me tell you from experience though (my brother is a Jets season-ticket holder) that David Bowens may be old and lumbering but he is smart and above ALL ELSE....he is the consummate "TEAM" player. He is a terribly UNSELFISH player and if there was a HOF for that type of guy, he would be in it.

I have always liked his play, which ALWAYS seems to be over achieving. It's great to see still playing for the Browns & in the spotlight!
