Could Matt Roth be a prototypical 4-3 DE, a Jared Allen or Aaron Kampmann? Fujita and Gocong have both played in a 4-3 and a lot of people think Jackson should.

The fact is, Holmgren is an offensive guy. He bascially leaves the defense to someone else. He is not going to dictate a change from the 3-4 to the 4-3 just to "make the Browns in his image". His image is as an offensive coach.

They might bring in a West Coast offensive coordinator, but not a 4-3 specialist per se.
