Yes, it is nice for OSU to win any game, but the fact is this was just a glorified exhibition game.

And why do they put this game on a Tuesday night well after the Holidays are over? The Bowl games were supposed to be for people to go have a vacation during the Holidays. I don't know about you, but this game was played after people had to be back in work/school after the holiday season was over.

WTF is up with that?

For some reason, I've been a lot less interested this year. The Rose Bowl was a great game.

Here is my order of preference:

A. Seahawks. Yea, I would like to see a 7-9 team win the SB. It would be the greatest Cinderella story of all time

C. Eagles

Viscerally, I would like to see either Holmgren, or Gruden. (though I understand that Holmgren has told the team he will not be the next coach). Logically, however, I am aware that no person has ever won a Super Bowl with a second team., thus, those 2 plus the likes of Cowher, Billick etc. should not be on the list.

Thus, you probably have to look at some crony of Holmgren's who has not yet won a SB.

I think of all of these on about the same level as a preseason game between the Cardinals and the Jaguars. In other words, I think they are basically useless. I have watched only bits and pieces of a few of them. Even the Ohio State game is almost a "Whatever" affair.

4. What is your favorite TV show, non sports?

Difficult to say. The shows I think I like most are ones I don't get to see because I don't have HBO or Showtime. Like True Blood or Dexter. I still watch Survivor. And Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

5. What was your favorite movie, or which movie do you think was the best movie of 2010?

I haven't seen as many as I have in year's past, but of what I have seen here are my Top 5:

A. Toy Story 3. Yep, this "cartoon" was probably the best picture of the entire year.

B. Social Network

C. Inception

D. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

E. True Grit. (far better than the John Wayne version)

The bowl games are merely revenue generating products for the tv networks, ncaa, and universities. The product has become diluted and needs a fix..i.e BCS playoff structure

3. I like them. Good chance to get a scouting preview, and there is football on pretty much every day for a month.

4. Steelers vs Browns games. There is no competition there, so it really cant be classified as a sport.
