That sounds like wr starter to me. And Sheard? He's going to be excellent.

Start the frickin season already.

**************************************

Jabaal Sheard - DL - Browns Second-round pick Jabaal Sheard is expected to be the Browns' Week 1 right defensive end this season.

The Cleveland Plain-Dealer's Tony Grossi reports that "unless something unforeseen happens," that is where he will be. Sheard may end up seeing some time at left end, as well, but if he looks good on the right side early on, he has a chance to be a 16-game starter there as a rookie.
Greg Little - WR - Browns Second-round pick Greg Little believes he already has a firm grasp on the Browns offense.

"It's the same terminology (as my college offense), the same verbiage, exact same calls, everything," he said. "I think it's going to be such a smooth transition to where when I met with the Cleveland Browns, I knew a lot of their terminology already. I think that's one of the things that I'm really excited about as well."

Reply to Sheard And Little on Tue, 24 May 2011 16:27:20 GMT

I think Little will have the most impact as far as are rookies go he will be a steal in this years draft.Maybe a early ROY canadiate

Jabbal Sheard impresses me more and more and i think he was a great selection at where we got him, alot of tape i saw he really has an array of different rush moves compared to others at there stage in there Career. Its great to know he will be plugged in to start.

Phil Taylor i think will serve a great purpose but dont know if he will have the stats because thats not what he was brought in for, hes more of a space eater to help others make the plays so he will be underrated..

Nw220

Reply to Sheard And Little on Tue, 24 May 2011 12:23:45 GMT

@<bdi>usfbrown</bdi> said:

Agreed this could be the draft that gets us over the hump. But I don't think we'll get over it this upcoming season. We have a whole new system on both sides of the ball and currently we don't have any coaching contact.

I agree but I also like how these three guys coming in are already versed in the systems we are putting in, so they are not going to have a huge learning curve like the rest of our team is.

Harry Buffalo

Reply to Sheard And Little on Tue, 24 May 2011 10:43:35 GMT

@<bdi>jrb12711</bdi> said:

I don't think anyone can argue that our staff went out and filled the three most glaring needs on this team with the 1st and 2nd round picks this year. As long as Taylor, Sheard and Little work out well, this could be the draft the get the Browns over the hump IMO. Go browns! Let's get this damn lockout done for real
