Since years and years, i've been watching our defense with 4 crappy linebackers. Now with the 4-3, we have to watch only 3 crappy linebackers! That's a 25% decrease in linebacker crappiness in one one year. Way to go Shurmer.

i was with a pretty big group of fans, and not many seemed to mind the kickoff return for a touchdown. i can't speak for them, but it kept me from the misery of watching our defense go out on the field. They are a pathetic joke.

Reply to Why I Love The 4-3 Defense on Mon, 17 Oct 2011 15:37:41 GMT

Seriously i like the 4-3 better but hecktard has really goofed it up personnel wise..

That being said, the defense actually played quite well yesterday. Of the 24 points scored by the Raiders, 14 were scored against the special teams. The other Raiders TD was after a fumble I believe where they only had to drive like 30-35 yards. And one FG.

Really, they only got 3 points from any kind of long drive against the Browns D.

Eliminate the turnover and the special team F**kups and what do you have?

As much as we think Shurmur might be a shit offensive coordinator, we need to look at our special teams coach. They have not impressed all year.

The Gipper

Reply to Why I Love The 4-3 Defense on Mon, 17 Oct 2011 02:20:44 GMT

rofl.....copter!
