Crap, Heckert has made very few mistakes since he's been here- Haden, Ward, Taylor, Sheard, Little. Yes, there's still holes on this team that need to be addressed, no doubt.

Sure we have room under the cap- is this going to be your 7 win year? Probably. McCoy has regressed, Hillis has contracted the Madden Curse, and Massaquoi is fragile. Regardless, the Browns weren't going to the Super Bowl this year- so let's save some of that cap room for a season where we actually have a chance. The Eagles spent a ton on free agents, and to date, they've won less games than the Browns. So we only won 6-3, we beat a team that won the NFC West last year, and made the playoffs.

hoorta

Reply to I Dont Want To Say I Told You So on Sun, 23 Oct 2011 20:19:27 GMT

Again, classic stupid head up their ass Cleveland fan.
My point is MoMass, Little and every other wideout on this team is a #3 possession receiver. Holmgren hads the nuts to say in his press conference this week that, "they didn't really know what they had at WR so they were using this year to evaluate the WRs".
The Browns can't stretch the field, and regardless of Paddy Sherms thinks, it helps to have a guy that can at least draw attention of a deep safety.
