Look at athletes from decade to decade. You can say training tehniques and diets have played a factor, but they have gotten bigger, stronger and faster.

People who point to testing don't know much about steroids and how to get around tests.

Brian cushing, clay matthews, ray lewis, sebastian janakowski all juice balls.

I would say that at least half the nfl uses hgh and steroids.

By the way does anyone know where I can score some?

Fair enough speculation, and surely there is nobody here who doesn't believe Hillis is a Steroid built player.

However, his "injury" if indeed is a real injury (I don't believe he is hurt), is more indicative of a big, bullish, straight ahead runner who just doesn't have the body to be an NFL running back and instead just yanked his own crank running into brick walls.

Big Bangers don't last long in the NFL. Hillis is nowhere in the league or talent pool as guys like Bettis, Campbell, Czonka or Pete Johnson.

I think all you are seeing is Hillis being VERY astutue in realizing that the jig was up. In other words, once our opponents got a fix on him, they accounted for im, theu stuffed him and Hillis knew if he kept running and vetting 1.8 yards, his stock would drop.

So what's he do? He fakes an injury, knowing full well it will piss people off, BUT BUT BUT............. if you had an NFL career, would you REALLY FIGHT to keep it in Cleveland? C mon, be real.

WHen he locates his new team in 2012, his agent will "sell" Hillis on the 2010 film clips of Hillis, "assure" the new team that Hillis is ready to physically return to that level" and boom, Hillis will get a few more games of running daylight until THAT division accounts for him.

Bottom Line? Hillis is an average NFL running back. The only teams in the NFL he could start for are Cleveland and perhaps 2 other of the shit teams. He is just not good, THAT is what is going on here. Hillis is trying to make the best of his never-again-to-be-found success.

Hillis is done.
