Since we have already played the Bengals once this year, I will dispense with the typical trivia that deals mainly with the next week's opponent and just go to some basic NFL etc. trivia, though a couple or three Qs will deal with the Turkey Day tradition:

Answers:

1. With the Packers at 10-0, talk of an undefeated season will crop up. Name here the 5 teams that have gone undefeated and untied in a regular season:

1934 Bears, 1942 Bears, 1948 Browns, 1972 Dolphins, 2007 Patriots. Only the Browns and Dolphins ended up winning their league titles. The others lost the title games.

Other teams, mostly pre-playoff era have gone undefeated but with ties: 1920 Akron Pros, 1922 and 1923 Canton Bulldogs.

2. Throughout history there are 2 franchises that have twice in their history gone winless for a season. Name these two teams:

Detroit Lions went winless in 1942 and 2007

Chicago Cardinals went winless in 1943 and 1944

3. Since the 1970 merger, one franchise has on 3 occasion only won 1 game in a year. Which franchise?

The Houston Oilers (nka Tennessee Tits) won one game only in 1972, 1973, and 1982. FYI the Browns have never done that poorly. There worst record was the expansion year of 1999 when they went 2-14, next was the following year, 2000 when they were 3-13, then 1975 when they were 3-11

4. Rarely known fact: The Steelers were only able to draft Terry Bradshaw with the #1 pick of the 1970 draft because they won a coin flip with another team for the rights to that first pick. Had the other team won the coin flip, they, and not the Steelers would have taken Bradshaw with that first pick.. Who was that other team?

The Chicago Bears

5. Who won the MSL championship last night?

The LA Galaxy

6. Which starting QB in history has lost the most postseason games without ever having won one?

Y.A. Tittle was 0-4 in all postseason games. Nevertheless, he is still inthe Hall of Fame.

7. In how many Super Bowl games has Dick LeBeau been the defensive coordinator of one of the participants?

Five, 2 with the Bengals and 3 with the Steelers

8. In their initial 1995 season in the NFL, the Carolina Panthers did not play their home games in Charlotte NC. Where did they play that season?

Clemson Memorial Stadium, Clemson S.C.

9. Which of the following cities was NOT represented by a team in the National Football League(APFA) in the league's inaugural 1920 season:

Akron, Canton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, Youngstown

Cincinnati, Toledo, and Youngstown

(of course, the NFL was essentially an outgrowth of "The Ohio League".

10. Two teams in history have had a 10 win improvement from one season to the next. Name those two teams:

The 1998-1999 Colts and the 2007-2008 Dolphins (I think this kind of improvement could only be accomplished under a 16 game schedule)

11. It is clear that the Colts are NOT going to make the playoffs this season, thus their 9 game consecutive postseason streak will be broken. What two teams have the next longest post season appearance streak going for them currently?

The Ravens and the Eagles who have been in the playoffs now 3 years running. Other than the Colts, no other team has had more than a two year current run. It looks like the Eagles run may also be over, so it could be that the Ratbirds may end up with the longest postseason streak when this year is over.

12. The Packers play the Lions Thursday for their traditional Thanksgiving day matchup. When was the last time the Packers went into Detroit on Turkey Day with an undefeated record?

1962

...and what was the result of that game?

The Lions won.....but...the Packers got the last laugh because they did win the NFL title that year.

13. What is the all time record between the Packers and Lions on Turkey Day?

My source says that the Lions lead 11-7-1

14. Vince Lombardi terminated the Packers/Lions traditional Thanksgiving day game after the 1963 season. How long after that year was it before the Packers went back to Detroit on Turkey Day?

21 years. The Packers did not go back to play again in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day until 1984.

15. The Dallas team also has a tradition of hosting a Thanksgiving Day NFL game. When did that tradition begin and what stadium did they play in?

The first Dallas team to "host" a Thanksgiving Day game was the Dallas Texans in 1952.....and the game was held in The Akron Rubber Bowl!! where the Texans played half their home schedule that year.
