And that is Keith Price, QB Washington. So, if the Price isn't right for RG...wait for when the Price is right:

Are you refering to this past bowl game where Baylor won by 11 and had one RB go for over 200 yards (5 rushing TD) and two other guys run for over 100 yards? That might be factor in why RG3 had less TD passes than Price and less passing yards. In the end when down in the 4th QTR RG3 completed the big pass and a second one to set his team to go up for good.

Price ran for 3 TDs and threw for 4 more in that game, but Baylor won like 56-49.

Let's put it this way, I doubt either of them will see defenses in the NFL as bad as those two team's defenses were.

I mean, people talk about playmakers on offense that are needed, but there was a reason that Alabama won the title and LSU played in it: because of their defenses.

Personally I would have liked to have seen LSU or Alabama play OK St. with their offense and to see how that Big 12 Champion would have done against them.

The Gipper

Reply to If The Price Isn't Right on Tue, 28 Feb 2012 20:42:44 GMT

@<bdi>the-gipper</bdi> said:

Well, the hype machine has been on for some time for Matt Barkley, who I see as having no more attributes than Colt McCoy....his arm isn't even as strong.
Keith Price, QB, Washington: Keith Price may have been the most impressive player on the field in this game which is saying a lot considering the Heisman winner was the other starting quarterback. Price threw for 438 yards as he completed 23 of 37 passes for 4 touchdowns and ran for 39 yards and 3 more touchdowns. He demonstrated impressive maturity for such a young player in his first year as a starter and definitely displayed impressive arm strength, accuracy and athleticism. He’s listed at 6’1”, 195 pounds so his size will definitely be scrutinized as he develops as a NFL prospect, but his arm strength and athleticism make him an intriguing quarterback. He had a terrific season as a first year starter and Steve Sarkisian has a great reputation for developing quarterbacks, so there is reason to believe that “Sark” will get the most out of Price’s substantial upside. Hopefully Price stays for his senior season, but that decision is obviously well over a year away.

The Gipper

Reply to If The Price Isn't Right on Tue, 28 Feb 2012 19:03:22 GMT

Here is WalterFootball's Mock Draft for the 2013 NFL draft. Though Price is not in the first round, he certainly could be come next year's draft time.

Note, paranthetically, that they have the Texans vs. the Lions in the Super Bowl:
