Guys like Todd McShay are saying the Browns should be looking at taking Ryan Tannehill at #4. Are you feeling the love for Tannehill at that spot?

I like Ryan alot... loved him as a late 2nd /early 3rd prospect, but the resume is too thin to tag him at #4 or even #22...

2. The NHL playoffs began last night. Do you have a favorite for whom you want to see win the Stanley Cup? Who?

LET'S GO FLYERS! College roomie lived North of Philly and his family had season tix back the the early 70's and I saw one game every year with them. Real NHL fans will know the early 70's were "Broad Street Bully" days. HBO did a great documentary on them. Yes, they fought, but they were also one of the best skating teams of that era...

3. April 15 is a couple of days away. So, are you F**KED or NOT F**KED this year?

Pretty sure I'm NOT... and the deadline is April 17 this year...

4. Courtesy of Zombo: What is your favorite Browns team of all time. Give a specific season.

Hard to not pick the Champion '64 Browns, which I am old enough to have seen. But I have to say the 1980 Kardiac Kids. As exciting a season as I can remember... Everything came together for one gloriously entertaining year... well... almost everything...

5. In a day or two it will be the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Are you, like so many others still fascinated about this event? Tell us how you feel and why.

Nah... thought it was cool when it was found and even liked the Cameron movie, but now it's just a cash cow and I've moved on...

I like him and wouldn't be upset

2. The NHL playoffs began last night. Do you have a favorite for whom you want to see win the Stanley Cup? Who?

The Smashville Predators.

3. April 15 is a couple of days away. So, are you F**KED or NOT F**KED this year?

I think it is the 17th this year......Not....I only had to pay $1655

4. Courtesy of Zombo: What is your favorite Browns team of all time. Give a specific season.

1964.....our last winner.

5. In a day or two it will be the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Are you, like so many others still fascinated about this event? Tell us how you feel and why.

It is fascinating. I have been to a couple of the Titanic exhibits. One in St. Pete and one in Boston....I'd do it again if one were to come around anywhere near.

Give your opinions:

My own thoughts:

1. Guys like Todd McShay are saying the Browns should be looking at taking Ryan Tannehill at #4. Are you feeling the love for Tannehill at that spot?

No, I am not feeling any love for taking a guy that was a WR a year or so ago. If he was still there in the 4th round....as he was evaluated to be just a few months ago when the college season ended, maybe. 4th round, not 4th overall.

2. The NHL playoffs began last night. Do you have a favorite for whom you want to see win the Stanley Cup? Who?

I have a soft spot for these Canadian NHL cities that have not won in forever. Ottawa and Vancouver. Vancouver should have won the Cup last year. The blew a 3-2 lead.

Given that Hockey is Canada's sport I would like an Ottawa/Vancouver Final.

3. April 15 is a couple of days away. So, are you F**KED or NOT F**KED this year?

F**KED. Yes. By them and by the city. Anybody with some extra cash they want to give away to a good cause?

4. Courtesy of Zombo: What is your favorite Browns team of all time. Give a specific season.

I think I gotta go with 1964 with the great stars on that team. JB of course. We bitched about Frank Ryan the way people bitch about Colt McCoy today....and he led us to a title. Paul Warfield and Gary Collins. Johnny Brewer and a great offensive line of Shafrath, Hickerson, Wooten etc.. Jim Kanicki, Dick Modzewleski, Bob Gain, Bill Glass, Vince Costello, Jim Houston, Bernie Parish, Ross Fichtner.

Runnersup are the 1980 Kardiac Kids and the 1986 team.

5. In a day or two it will be the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Are you, like so many others still fascinated about this event? Tell us how you feel and why.

Yes, I am fascinated....AND, I have a personal connection. My grandfather was there on the scene in Cobh, Ireland (then known as Queenstown), which was the Titanic's last port of call before being hit by the iceberg. He worked for the British Admiralty and had certain oversight of the ships that went in and out of that port.

The Titanic to him however was just another ship that went out to sea. Many did that every week there. It was the main emigration port to send the Irish to America.

The event that was more stark to he and my grandmother was the ship that sank 3 years later, right off the coast of Cobh: The Lusitania. My grandparents were not involved in the rescue attempts of the Titanic, because it sank way off by Nova Scotia. However, the Lusitania sank just miles offshore and the Queenstown was the port of rescue....and recovery. They told my mother the story of the nearly 1200 bodies that were brought up and laid on the docks in their town.

The Gipper

Reply to Survey Thursday on Thu, 12 Apr 2012 21:31:57 GMT

@<bdi>the-gipper</bdi> said:

1. Guys like Todd McShay are saying the Browns should be looking at taking Ryan Tannehill at #4. Are you feeling the love for Tannehill at that spot?

(first off how did Mcshay even get a job, second I would like to love Tannehill but him at 4 with less than 2yrs as a College qb scares the crap out of me. If you pick him you absolutly have to trade mccoy. Then get weapons around him.)

2. The NHL playoffs began last night. Do you have a favorite for whom you want to see win the Stanley Cup? Who? (no favorites, but starting to watch more)

3. April 15 is a couple of days away. So, are you F**KED or NOT F**KED this year?

(not f**ked, been done since Feb)

4. Courtesy of Zombo: What is your favorite Browns team of all time. Give a specific season.

(being 29 i havent really seen or really remember a great team, i do however loved watching eric metcalf and eric turner, beat up the Steelers and Cowboys in the early 90s)

(Being in the US Coast Guard, knowing the history of the events and what it did to change the way ocean travel is tiday is amazing. What blows my mind it how a cruise ship un this day and age with all the electronics can go aground and sink.

cambridgeho

Reply to Survey Thursday on Thu, 12 Apr 2012 21:17:19 GMT

Here is this week's survey.
