Here are some more Trivia. Most, not all Super Bowl related stuff:

Answers:

1. Which team has had the longest postseason appearance streak? (most consecutive years in the playoffs)

Why, it is the Cleveland Browns with 10 consecutive post season appearances from 1946-1955.

Second on the list (first among post AAFC merger) is the Dallas Cowboys twice: 9 times from 1965-1973 and again with 1975-1983. Third longest streak: Colts 2002-20010.

2. Who is Neal Dahlen and why is he unique in NFL annals?

Neal Dahlen is the only person ever to "win" 7 Super Bowl rings. He won 5 as an assistant coach/pro personell asst. with the San Francisco 49ers, and he won two more as the GM of the Denver Broncos when they won their back to back titles. No one else has more than 6 (Dan Rooney) I believe, for players, the record is 5: Charles Haley.

3. What is the Pete Rozelle Trophy awarded for?

Super Bowl MVP

4. What fate befell the teams that lost the Super Bowl from 2000 to 2004? (besides the obvious fact that they lost the Super Bowl)

They didn't just fail to make the playoffs, all 5 had losing records the following season:

2000 Giants went 7-9 in 2001. 2001 Rams went 7-9 in 2002. 2002 Raiders went 4-12 in 2003. 2003 Panthers went 7-9 in 2004. 2004 Eagles went 6-10 in 2005.

5. Who appeared in the Super Bowl TV ad titled "Halftime in America"?

Clint Eastwood. He made my day.

6. Which two teams have gone the longest without appearing in the NFC tite game?

The Lions and the Redskins squared off in the 1991 NFC title game. Neither has been back since.

7. How did Schuykill Co. PA allegedly affect the 2008 Super Bowl between the Steelers and the Cardinals?

Because of the Pottsville Curse. The people of that area believe the Cardinals have been such a bad franchise and have gone the longest of any NFL team because the Cardinals used skullduggery (as opposed to Schulkillery?) to win the 1925 NFL title. They are right, the Cards did use skullduggery to win that title, with the assistance of the NFL in doing so.

But what the Pottsvillagers fail to recognize is that the Cardinals did in fact win an NFL title 22 years later in 1947. So how could this curse exist?

Because it really doesn't. Its just that the Cardinals have overall been a poorly managed operation under the Bidwill regime, which is now in its third generation.

8. Who was the oldest player ever to appear in a Super Bowl?

Former Cleveland Brown Matt Stover when he played for the Colts in SB XLIV. He was 42 years 11 days old.

9. Who currently holds The Grey Cup?

The B.C. Lions. Though in my "Big Four" title count I do not consider Vancouver to have won a major title since 1915 because I do not consider the CFL as one of the Big 4, the B.C. Lions, located in Vancouver, have won a few CFL titles, including this last one.

10. What team has lost the most AFC Championship games without ever winning one?

The New York Jets are 0-4 in AFC title games. Remember, the AFC didn't become an entity per se until 1970. The Jets SB title was won as AFL champions. The Browns of course, are 0-3 in AFC title games since 1970.

11. In the years 1933-1965 when the NFL Championship game was THE final game on the NFL's schedule, which 3 stadiums shared the honor of hosting that game the most times?

Wrigley Field, home of the Bears; the Polo Grounds, home of the Giants, and Cleveland Municipal Stadium each hosted 5 NFL Championship games. (Muni hosted by the Rams 1 time and the Browns 4 times)

12. What does this list represent: Purdue, Notre Dame, Michigan State, California, California, Purdue, UCLA, Georgia, Georgia, Navy.

This is the alma mater list of the first 10 losing Super Bowl QBs: Purdue/Len Dawson, Notre Dame/Daryl Lamonica, Michigan State/Earl Morrall, California/Joe Kapp, California/Craig Morton, Purdue/Bob Griese, UCLA/Billy Kilmer, Georgia/Fran Tarkenton, Georgia/Fran Tarkenton, Navy/Roger Staubach.

13. Only 1 Super Bowl has ever featured 2 teams that played their games in the same state. Name that game (you can ignore the Roman Numerals, just say who played)

It was Super Bowl 29. Chargers vs. 49ers, both from California. Not the Bills and Giants you ask? Giants play in New Jersey.

14. Which Super Bowl had the largest attendance? (again, ignore numbers, just tell the teams)

It was XIV (14?). The Steelers and the Rams during the 1979 season. SB held in The Rose Bowl with an attendance of 103,983.

15. Who is rumored to be playing at halftime of the 2012 Season's Super Bowl game, i.e the next one?

Van Halen. Now, does that make you want to jump?
