Well Gilbert renamed the Gund, Quicken Loans Arena. I see you point, but maybe from a business owner's viewpoint they might think that the potential "new money" could be brought in by increased profits towards their company.
Well Fatheads are owned by Gilbert, so I would see Pilot Stadium as more of a realistic option. Just as long as they don't let some ridiculous company buy the naming rights. I mean the Raiders play at the "O.co Coliseum" and Arizona's stadium could have been named Pink Taco Stadium

FearTheRoo

Reply to Haslam At Training Camp on Sat, 04 Aug 2012 14:37:22 GMT

Things that we can expect though.
I like upfront hands on owners and have known for 12 years that this is what the club has desperately lacked with the lerners..

No Cleveland ties. No loyalty to Cleveland.

This is an investment for him... Sell out the stadium and he will be fine with everything. "

I think he's way more than an owner. He was a Steeler fan because he owned a piece. He's the biggest Browns fan on the planet now. I like him a lot already. It's not just an investment to him.

ClevelandFanForLife

Reply to Haslam At Training Camp on Sat, 04 Aug 2012 13:25:15 GMT

@<bdi>diehardbrownsfan</bdi> said:
