I saw one person mention cutting Weeden now and just take your losses. Does a sane person really believe that's a good option? I've watched the first two games and the first game Weeden had zero help. No blocking from the OL, no running game, and WR's dropping easy catches. You see what he did today with a little help? Yeah, the Bengals are pretty bad as well, but the offense looked much improved today. Line actually blocked a little, Richardson looked great, and your WR's improved a little. I still think you guys should hit up some FA's for help at WR but that's a whole different discussion. My thing is, don't give up on Weeden so quickly. He had a rough start but you have to keep in mind how good the Eagle's defense is. Weeden can make all the throws whereas no one else on your roster can. Weeden is more mobile than people give him credit it for but he's no Colt McCoy when the pocket collapses. He likes to take some risks because of the confidence in his arm but he needs to keep in mind how capable his WR's are when it comes to making those plays.

His ball security that was an issue last week is something that can be fixed. He was hardly touched in his two years at Oklahoma State so this whole getting sacked thing is new to him. Once he gets comfortable back there those mistakes will disappear. He's already made a huge leap from last week and looked much improved. Just stick with him and I know you guys will be proud to call him your QB in the near future.
