Sunday he decided to showboat a bit after making a first down catch and a touchdown catch, both with his team losing.

Shortly after the game he thought it'd be a good idea to tweet pic his pose with the caption "I'm in the same boat as Usain Blot", exactly what I'd do after losing my second game in a row.

Then after some fans tell him exactly how stupid he looks he tweets - "Honestly I really don't care what fans say I really could careless! I ride with the 53 men in the locker room and the coaches thats it."

Now if you've ever had the displeasure of hearing Little interviewed on the radio last year you'd know he is dumb as a box of rocks.

When I think of Greg Little the old saying "If I could buy you for what you're worth and sell you for what you think you're worth I'd be a rich man" comes to mind.

Reply to Greg Little on Fri, 28 Sep 2012 04:02:58 GMT

@<bdi>browns-bob</bdi> said:

I'm more mad at Shurmur calling a 2 yard slant in a 2 minute drill, on 3rd down, with no timeouts than I am at Little for not catching the ball.

If anyone follows college football at all they'd know that Little was a project from the get go. He's a converted RB still learning the position, if anything we should be mad at our organization for taking the risk on such a raw player.

What would you have called?

Sure, it's all well and good to say "run the receivers past the first down marker", but the defense was playing off to prevent the first down from happening and it's not like our receivers know how to get any seperation.

You're going to see the short slant a lot. Shurmer is a WCO advocate, and the slant is a staple of the WCO. It's all about YAC. We had a much better chance of gaining the first down on YAC then throwing past the markers into a cover 2 shell.

Tim Couch Pulls Out

Reply to Greg Little on Mon, 24 Sep 2012 16:04:44 GMT

Braylon Edwards redux!

Browns Bob

Reply to Greg Little on Mon, 24 Sep 2012 02:19:56 GMT

@<bdi>dab7291993</bdi> said:

Your age doesn't make you more credible, in today's NFL players celebrate TD's no matter the score.

Cam Newton did today.

Victor Cruz did his salsa dance last week when the Giants were down to Tampa Bay.

That's what players do now, if it angers you, you should probably let it go.

how about wes walker? what about curtis martin or emmitt smith? do you remember them doing a dance after crossing the goal line and just handing it of to the refs? jerry rice? gayle sayers? even barry sanders.

it's called decorum.

yeah in this day and age certain players celebrate their tds knowing that the lens is on them, hence bumping up their brand (tshirts, spots on nat'l tv, endorsements) and selling yourself. which is all good.....when you are winning the game convincingly and you are a large part of the reason why you are winning...until then just pass the ball off to the ref.

miktoxic
