Our country is racing towards a financial cliff regardless of who is in office. We may fall off it in 3 months, it may be 3 years. Because persons are smart, and people are stupid, whichever party is in office (President) when we go sailing into the abyss is probably finished in American politics.

I'd prefer that party to be the one with the ability to cause the most damage to the country.

Romney just doesn't wow me, so I can't vote for him. Plus I don't think he's very honest. I don't like his health care plan, nor his fiscal one(s). Ron Paul has the correct answers to fix both of those problems (plus several others) but they probably just can't get implemented in our current system. Some of his policies are also in a bind of being "too late" which sucks.

Legacy Fan

Reply to Why Is This Man Not Our President? on Thu, 27 Sep 2012 02:44:44 GMT

How sad.

Here is the problem - If one tells the truth as is (being brutally honest), the no bullshitters will like it but common men will be offended by the crudeness. If you sugar coat it to make it more presentable, the common men will perhaps like it but the no-bullshitters will sniff out the sugar and will be offended and call it as they see it.
Great post there.

The main reason Ron Paul, or any other 3rd Party candidate isn't even a threat to be President is the two party system. There is so much money in the R & D party, they control the whole political game.
