(Second story)

So Browns want to interview Joe Cullen, the D-line coach for the Jags. But the Jags run the 4-3 as far as I know, and he coached a few seasons at Detroit before that and Im pretty sure they were a 4-3 as well... So are we keeping a 4-3? Do Chud/Banner/Haslam just think hes a really good coach and want to grab him like it seems like theyve been doing with the front office staff (minus GM)? Is he part of the "hybrid" plan? Am I missing something?

Reply to Browns Interviewing D-Line Coach on Tue, 15 Jan 2013 21:23:47 GMT

@<bdi>cribbs-is-the-man</bdi> said:

I think it's very odd to bring in a 4-3 D-line coach to coach a 3-4 defense. The defensive line does totally different things in each of the systems...

He can still coach 3 guys vs 4, lol.

Kosar_For_President

Reply to Browns Interviewing D-Line Coach on Tue, 15 Jan 2013 21:20:36 GMT

Ya Know....maybe he can coach both, and run what personnel dictate.

A DL line coach is not going to dictate the defense, lol
