Bill B. has proved he can get the best out of players other teams consider "poison", e.g., Randy Moss. Furthermore once he gets their best, he moves them... most times for more than he parted with to bring them to the Pats. TT may well, finally become the "WildDawg" QB he was supposed to be with the Jets. In return for his QB time, he may see time at other positions TBD. It would not surprise me if some of this time was on the defensive side of the ball.

Like it or not, Tebow is about his religion- so some people don't like he's over the top about it, boo hoo. According to Wiki, the guy and his parents are fundamental Baptists, and fer sure, I don't agree with a lot of that particular religious viewpoint. The Crusades were all about religious zelatory- plenty of other wars too. Tim's going to have quite a profitable post football career on the preaching\inspirational circuit even if he never plays another down. I heard his mom can pull down $5k to show up for a preaching gig, and I'd bet Tim pulls down a tad more than that. I'll leave my personal feelings about the the Tebow haters private.

that's the thing, Bill is the perfect coach for this stuff. He just shuts the media down and says it plainly. They picked up Tebow on a non guarantee contract. Its a win win for the Patriots.
