Becaue the NFL really wants to be "cool," the plan for the next SB is to have the players introduced one by one riding dog sleds pulled by huskies (no, not Washington Huskies) around the stadium.
Why are cold weather stadiums unpopular with Northerners? Do you regularly attend Super Bowls? Do you just hate hearing all the wimpy reporters/broadcasters complain about cold weather? Just because college rewards unpaid athletes with a warm weather bowl game, doesn't mean the highly paid NFL players need a similiar incentive. Football isn't a summer sport. Frankly, I think the NFL should rotate the Super Bowl between all team cities (provided those stadiums meet the NFL's revenue generating requirements). Actually I don't care about the revenue generation, but that's how the NFL selects stadiums.
