And he sounded perfectly fine the other night as well..except for his typical Youngstownese. There was no issue with slurring on his part. The issue was with those who wanted to make it personal about Kosar over his responses to Donovan's questions. What should the Rams receivers parents be? They should be embarassed by their poor performance.

And God save us all from having to watch Kellen Clemens play QB. Uh, I don't think you can blame it on regional dialect, Gimp. His speech is a result of too many blows to the head, drinking, medications or maybe a combination of them all. A lot of players have suffered this kind of thing. I've heard people from Youngstown. They don't normally talk like that.

Cope is apples and oranges. His voice was like nails on a chalkboard, but he actually was a celebrated sportswriter (nationally known) before doing radio. If you bother to look at his background, you'll learn he was hired BECAUSE of his voice, a la Howard Cosell. They were looking for obnoxious back then.

When BK said, rightly, that the Rams receivers were playing horribly....Donovan asked the question "what should their parents think", and BK simply said "they should be embarrassed". So...do you think no one should talk about mamas?

And it was Donovan that gave the whole "Pope getting an autograph" story that set up the "bless me father for I have sinned" line.
