I can honestly say that at no point last Thursday when I was watching the Browns win that game did I think "damn....this just sucks because Hoyer got hurt".

I sure as hell did. I'll take a winning season over a single win any day. Hoyer provided us the best chance for a winning season. Don't get me wrong, Weeden could potentially do that for us, and I hope he does, but I would feel much more confident with Hoyer at the helm. A win is only good if it leads to future success.
