<p>East  Patriots 10-3  with #2 seed</p>
<p>North Bengals 9-4  #3 seed</p>
<p>South  Colts 8-5 #4 seed....but Colts have already clinched their division</p>
<p>West Broncos #1 seed.....and Broncos have clinched a playoff spot</p>
<p>Wildcards:  Chiefs 10-3  #5 seed, Ravens 7-6 #6 seed (by virtue of head to head win over Dolphins)</p>
<p>In the Hunt:  Dolphins 7-6, Jets 6-7, Chargers 6-7</p>

<p>NFC</p>
<p>East  Eagles 8-5  with #3 seed</p>
<p>North Lions 7-6  with #4 seed  (lead division due to 2 wins over the Bears)</p>
<p>South Saints 10-3 #2 seed</p>
<p>West  Seahawks 11-2 #1 seed....also have already clinched a playoff spot</p>
<p>Wildcards:  Panthers 9-4  #5 seed (by win over 49ers),  49ers  9-4 #6 seed</p>

<p>Note:   Of the top 4 on this list, Texans/Falcons/Redskins/Vikings.....ALL four were in the playoffs last year.</p>

<p>It really is strange how this happens in the NFL. The other oddity is the Super Bowl hangover, where the prior year champion takes a dive. </p>

<p>It looks like the Ratbirds may slide into the playoffs, but I doubt they win more than one game.
