The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Redwings played in Michigan Stadium aka The Big House. There were over 105K in attendance, the weather was amazing...cold and blowing snow. It was a spectacular scene. Maple Leafs won in an OT shootout. For the past several years I have far more enjoyed watching these Winter Classics than the Bowl Games that are played that day. (It has helped that those Bowl Games have been relegated to meaningless exhibitions)
