Answers:

1. What QB drafted in the Top 5 has won the most games in his career?

Peyton Manning 167 wins. Second is John Elway with 148 wins, then Terry Bradshaw

2. What QB drafted in the Top 5 has lost the most games in his career? Hint: not the same as Q.1

Vinny Testaverde whose career W-L record is 90-123-1 the 123 most by any Top 5 QB (perhaps by any QB.

3. What college has produced the most QBs drafted in the Top 5 picks of the draft all time?

Notre Dame University: Rick Mirer/George Izo/Ralph Guglielmi/Bob Williams/Ray Danewicz/Johnny Lujack/Angelo Bertelli

(second is Stanford with: Elway/Plunkett/Brodie/Luck/Garrett.

4. What QB taken in the Top 5 since 1950 had a career record as a starting QB of 0-6?

Art Schlichter 0-6 as a starter in his career. (But note: Harry Gilmer, also a Top 5er, was 0-10 in his career. Drafted in the 40s)

5. What QB drafted in the Top 5 has rushed for the most yards in his career?

Michael Vick 5857 yards. Second is Steve McNair, third is Donovan McNabb. But note: Cam Newton already has over 2000 yards in just 3 years.

6. What QB taken in the Top 5 of the draft has rushed for the fewest yards in his career? hint: his is a HOFer...and his rushing total is a negative.

Sid Luckman -239 yards. Note this though....yards lost on sacks did not become a stat until 1982. It is possible that prior to that that "sack yards lost" may have been counted against a QB in his rushing yards total. I don't know this...I am only speculating. Luckman played long before the sack became a statistic.

7. What does this list represent: Bobby Garrett, Don Allard, Sandy Stephens?

These are QBs taken in the Top 5 of the draft who never started a single game in their careers. In fact Stevens never made a single appearance in a game....where Garrett at least got into 9 games and Allard 5. These guys were all taken in the mid 50s to early 60s. Needless to say, scouting has improved some (though....there is Jamarcus Russell)

8. What Top 5 Drafted QB rushed for the most TDs in his career?

Otto Graham: 44 Rushing TDs. (McNair 37, Vick 36, Elway 33). But note, again: Cam Newton has 28 rushing TDs already.

9. What Top 5 Drafted QB played in the most games in his career? Hint: it is not Peyton Manning.

Earl Morrall played in 255. Peyton is second with 240....and could beat Morrall's record next year.

10. Of the 83 QBs drafted in the Top 5 which 3 have the highest winning pct. in their careers? Regular and post season. Minimum 35 wins.

Otto Graham .814 (highest of any QB ever). He was a Top 5 draft pick of the Lions in 1944 even though he played with the Browns.

Peyton Manning .696

Terry Bradshaw .677

(Note: players like Brady/Montana/Lamonica/Staubach had higher win pct. than Manning and Bradshaw....but were drafted much lower than Top 5)

11. Which Top 5 drafted QB, taken since 1950 has the highest POST-season win %.

Jim Plunkett his 8-2 postseason record for a .800 win pct is highest all time. (Note: It is possible that Luckman or Baugh may have had a higher postseason win pct.....but Plunkett is best since 1950.

12. Which Top 5 drafted QB has the most postseason losses without ever having won a postseason game?

Bert Jones was 0-3 in his career in the postseason.

At 0-2 were: Roman Gabriel, Mike Phipps, Carson Palmer.

Bonus: Simple: Just name each QB that was drafted in the Top 5 picks of a draft that was the winning QB in a Super Bowl

Len Dawson

Joe Namath

Bob Griese

Terry Bradshaw

Jim Plunkett

Jim McMahon

John Elway

Troy Aikman

Peyton Manning

Eli Manning.

Note here: since 1990, no Top 5 QB pick since 1990, other than the Manning Brothers, has won a Super Bowl.
