Rubin or Taylor are possibilities imo, for the right price. We definitively have a surplus there. But yeah not Sheard. Especially if we go to a 4-3.
let's hope mingo has gained some weight in the weight room (not at mcdonalds) and proves himself worthy of his pick during camp. i think he and sheard could be a really good tandem in he 4-3 (not sure what we're running yet....most say a 3-4 hybrid....but what does that mean, sometimes you play a 4-3?). not too impressed with kreuger but maybe he will change my mind as well.

I think there is this desire to attempt to improve at this position and not too many creative avenues to take to do so.

People are loathe to believe that there is top talent for the fourth pick (and I don't tend to disagree with that). But the only reason they are going to be taken that high, is that there are quite a few teams picking early who share the same need.

BPA or draft for organizational weakness?
If I had any faith in Kruger bringing his numbers up next year I might be on board with that. But after watching RT's stonewall Kruger 1v1 all season long...I don't think we can risk losing Sheard. And if we go to a 4-3 than there's no question we have to keep Sheard.
