Dude, the defense is what gave that season away...not the offense. I want that offense back in a big way. I want a beast FB with two legit starting RB's behind him...one tank and one scat back type. If we could have Vickers and Hillis back the way they were in 2010 we would have won the division this year. What are you thinking bro? That was some of the best offensive football we'v played since 99.

Mangini definitely didn't get a fair shot here which is a shame because I think anybody would have preferred him over the shurmur and chud that followed. I think he could become a head coach somewhere and do a decent job. More experience with Harbaugh can't hurt. To be fair though, I didn't really like Mangini at the time. I just like him more now because of what we've had since him.

As far as Vickers. He had a decent 5*-year career with us. One pro-bowl year as an alternate. He was a true fullback, but I don't think he's ever been among the best at his position. He was a free agent last year, and is now if we want him back

I think we could do much better than Vickers was. I'd like a guy like vonta leach, mike tolbert, michael robinson. I'm high on that bowling ball J.C. Copeland, but I think everyone is high on him.
