The question that popped out the most was: If you had a brick, what would you do with it?" All-American Baylor offensive guard Cyril Richardson said Wednesday. "I named a couple things -- paperweight, counterbalance and stuff like that. ... I even said, 'Throw it.'"

The odd question, which Richardson said came from the Cleveland Browns and about which he'd been tipped off earlier by another player, is actually a fairly common job interview question designed to yield insight into a person's vision and initiative.

He also revealed a Browns scout asked him last month at the Senior Bowl “to name all the things I could do with a single brick in one minute.” Swanson conceded the interesting question “kind of threw me off. … I think I said, ‘You could use it as a doorstop. You could start to build something. I think that’s about all I got.’

If it's good it has a right angle so you can do you geometry homework. Then you have the things that you can do with a heavy enough object in general; as the guy said, paperweight or counterbalance, and doorstop. When camping we used to use bricks to keep the bbq off the grass, then afterwards we'd use them to keep warm. So there's a few things you can do with a single brick.

gftChris

Reply to What would you do with a brick? on Fri, 21 Feb 2014 16:18:36 GMT

There isn't much you can do with a single brick. If you had a lot of bricks you could build something.

But if I was told "no" you must stick to answering what you would do with one single brick my answer would be:

Upholster it.

Why do I say that?
