I expect Hoyer to win (keep?) the starting job throughout training camp and start day 1. But if (and hopefully this isnt the case) we are 0-3 going into the bye week, I'm betting week 5 we trot out our rookie QB. Hate it or love it, it's how things are done in cleveland

now if we draft a rookie and the HC and staff are blown away by the kid by day one and they feel he's got the goods........throw him to the lions. get it over with. if he survives good for him. good for us. if he doesn't bad for him, good for us.

True. If Hoyer was lights out and we still lost, I could see him staying but honestly we have a solid defense, a defensive minded head coach, I don't think defense will be the problem if we go 0-3.
