Here is where there is some controversy:

The Canton/Cleveland Bulldogs won titles in 1922/23/24. But the NFL considers the 1924 Cleveland Bulldogs to be a separate franchise to be a different franchise from the 22/23 Canton Bulldogs. But, those Cleveland Bulldogs had the same HC, and most of the same players as the Canton Bulldogs as well as some of the same minority owners..and of course, the same name. Its just that the majority owner of the Canton team bugged out, and a new majority owner came in and moved the team 50 miles up the road to Cleveland.

So, if you do not consider those Bulldogs to be the first 3 peat, then it would be the 1929-30-31 Green Bay Packers.

NO on this because 66-68 is entirely within the "Super Bowl" era. Dallas lost the equivalent of 2 NFC title games.....and they only lost 2, in 66 and 67, both to the Packers. In 1968 and 1969 they lost games in what would be the divisional round....both to the Browns.
