Its a union thing I believe. They say self serve denies job opportunities for professional Gas Dispensing Engineers (GDE). In Japan there is no self serve. When you pull into a station, about 4 men in uniform with run up to your car, check the fluids, air pressure, fill you up and clean your windows. Then they will stop traffic so you can exit and bow. But if you have this whole separation of church and state business nobody should be praying in congress. They don't need any distractions because they're already not getting anything done
