Dear Mr. Shaw and the rest of the Browns:

I love watching football played by my Browns, when they go all out, want to win,

and they put it all on the line every play.

I don't see that with Gordon, nor do I see it with Johnny Manziel.

I saw a qb come in off the practice squad, and I wish Mr. Shaw had a rocket arm.

But I wish Manziel had everything Mr. Shaw does have...but Manziel doesn't.

Johnny wants to party, he said he won't stop partying. He did say that he'd be all business

when the season started...

all talk, no action, it was bs.

I wish Mr. Shaw had started the two games that Manziel did. Now, I see Conner Shaw

as staying with the Browns, and Gordon gone, and Manziel being third string next year

because eventually, he may grow up someday and give damn.

Many of us have lost loved ones we don't get to be with, watching the Browns like

all those other years.

Even the Bone Lady, on TV, said she was older, and had choice words for Manziel.

Next year, you'll be even better, more competitive. Most of us have been Browns fans for a long,

long time.

We deserve better than a wr and a qb who think partying is their goal in life.

You Cleveland Browns deserve better, after all that work and dedication, and then

having a couple of losers not really take it seriously.

So many of us, mostly all of us, wish we had the talent to be out there, playing for the Browns.

We don't, eh? But we have the heart to play to win, and leave everything out on the field.

Most of you Browns absolutely do. Haden played well, with the flu. And Connor Shaw came in and

impressed the entire organization. You Browns deserve better than a few guys who think

it's all a joke that you put up with to make your parties rock.

We deserve better, for the folks who pay all those hard earned bucks for those season tickets,

and for all those who take that time on Sundays to cheer for the Browns.

I don't believe Manziel will ever have the heart to play as well as Connor Shaw did his first game,

also a rookie, but right off the practice squad, he played proud, and his teammates and fans were proud of the job he did.

Were it not for injuries and a few partiers who really don't give a damn... our Browns could

have been in the playoffs.

Not too far away. We haven't given up on our Browns, don't you give up on the op

to get to the playoffs next year, and doing all that work to get there even before the season starts.

We'll be here, but we're older, we don't have time for not caring, and alcoholism, partying,

smoking dope, and being dopes.

Thanks again, Mr. Connor Shaw, for showing us what we hoped for, from Broadway,

party animal, talk is cheap, his actions are cheaper Johnny, but didn't get. Everybody is impressed

with how hard you worked, to get to Play like a Cleveland Brown.

When he said that everyone has to be on board and will support Farmer and Pettine in the way they handle the team. It's common knowledge that he was instrumental in picking Johnny Flop and it's his way of atonement. Shaw looked like a pro and played like one. I think he will be a career backup in the NFL but that will be far better and longer then JFs career

flyingfooldoug

Reply to Open letter to Connor Shaw and the rest of the Browns on Tue, 30 Dec 2014 00:34:16 GMT

There are different philosophies in football and everyone hates a loss but I think it is good to commend a team for their effort in a loss under circumstances like the Browns were in Sunday. I was glad to see that commendation coming from the owner and the HC and many Browns fans. The team did play hard in a must win game for the Ravens and the Browns playing for pride.

OldBrownsFan
