Well for a little more background he was actually a freshman LB who fractured his neck his first year. He had to give up football and wanted to learn to be a coach. They kept him as an unpaid student assistant still on football scholarship so he could complete his education. He made a mistake and now has paid a very large price.

Whoops....well they just "fired" the non-coach.....and it appears that he....(the non coach, who they call assistant coach) ....actually hit TWO players, not just one.....
