In other words, it tells how long each area has been waiting for a <span style="color:#FF0000;background-color:#FFFF00">title</span>. This includes NHL/WHA, NBA/ABA, NFL/AFL/AAFC, and MLB:</p>

Of course fans from that area are often arrogant, stupid...and clearly lucky.</p>

<p>The more interesting of course are the towns at the bottom.  And the question is when can they jump up much higher.  A couple of years ago the Vancouver Canucks had a 3-2 lead in the Stanley Cup.....but messed that up.  The Ottawa hockey team had a finals appearance about 10 years ago...but failed. San Diego hasn't come that close.  The Padres had a couple of WS appearances...but were never close to winning...nor have the Chargers been close.
