<![CDATA[Atlanta vs. Cleveland]]>As you know the NBA Eastern Conference Finals begin this week with the Cleveland Cavaliers playing the Atlanta Hawks. Herein is the history of Cleveland vs. Atlanta in sports:

A. The Browns and Falcons have never met in the playoffs, but the Browns lead the regular season with an 11-3 advantage over the Falcons.

The Browns won the last meeting...just this past year 26-24.

B. In baseball Atlanta and Cleveland met just the one time in the 1995 World Series, won by the Atlanta Braves.

C. Since the inception of the Cavaliers, they have met the Atlanta Hawks in the postseason just one other time: in 2008/09 the Cavs beat the Hawks in the Eastern Conference semi-final round.

And FYI, if the Cavs get by the Hawks, they will meet either the Warriors or Rockets. They have never played either team in a previous postseason.

There's only 2 more games to win. They will dig deep and leave it all out there and bring this one home as long as no one else gets hurt. I think GS will come out gunning hard, but they are so frustrated they will break down faster even. And when you are pressing and forcing things can go real bad real fast. They better find someone to take charge and play good early or the cavs might roll them and blow one out. I can see it happening

We are in the Warriors heads for sure. They looked pretty down and out last night. Frustration is setting in. I expect them to come back hard tomorrow but if we nail them with another round of hard ass defense, we will break them down in the long run.

Tonights game as we all know is key in this series.. If we get tonight.. I think mentally this puts a strain on GS and it of course, favors us to win the series. I think the Cavs are also methodically getting into GS's head , just like they did Atlanta. But as we all know.. Nothing comes easy in C-Town.

Compare say the number of college football games to the number of pro games: usually about 12 vs. 16. So college football has 75% of the number of games that the pros have. Where college basketball on the other hand has about 30 games regular season games...plus limited tournament games.....vs. 82 regular season games for the pros. Almost 3 times as many..plus the NBA playoffs system is bloated with 16 teams playing four rounds of best of 7. In theory...for the champion or runnerup...the playoffs could add as many as an additional 28 games to the schedule (about as many an entire college regular season).

As to what would be a good amount. Unknown, but possiby 60 some.....but they won't give up that money.

i think your problem is with reading comprehension.

yes a lot of people i know from the past to the present don't like basketball because it's dominated by black athletes, yet they love hockey because it's still a 'white' man's game. obviously they don't have a hand in the game now and by most people's account it's backwards thinking. but it still exists. there's no talk of knicks basketball right now but the rangers well..
