6'2 as FB/Hback/TE/MoveTE is very possible. If he has a similar career path, minus injuries, I'll be very happy.

I hope the kid succeeds and becomes a star.

Bibbs, Senior...A highly recruited JUCO transfer a year ago, Bibbs stepped in as a starter for the Cyclones and finished 2013 as the team's second-leading receiver with 39 catches for 462 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was used as more of an inline blocker, but still proved capable in the passing game with good body control and hand-eye coordination to snare off-target throws.

Bibbs has solid size and frame with room to get stronger, but his upper body strength is average at-best and he needs to improve his hand placement to do more than simply get in the way of defenders. He shows some laziness in his routes and needs to do more to create separation, but lowers his pads well as a ballcarrier, staying balanced through contact. If l copied this right it has some combine stats for Bibbs. List him as 6'2". Not sure that was considered short for a TE. Too short for a TE, too tall for a FB?

I'm with Tour on this. Can he block?

So far, mostly Ive been hearing(and reading) the coaches talk about guys like Bibbs, Carder, Poyer, Kwaun, Bowie, etc etc,,,,and very little about the better players and/or regular starters...

so are they touting these guys because all our 2nd stringers just got very good or are they just driving competition by building up the lesser players?.......dunno.....

But Id say Bibbs(as well as others at other positions) has a long steep hill to climb to gain a spot over Barnidge, Dray, Housler, Williams & Telfer...

His tape looks good.....but, then again, dont all highlight tapes look good?......

What it showed next to nothing of is solid blocking. That is what will earn him a slot on the 53 or PS.

That was the knock on him coming out. Yet somehow he was always in position for the catch. So he has hands and an understanding of how to get open in spite of a lack of height and speed. We shall see what he does.

I think his value will be more in a H back type role if he makes the team. Maybe even at fullback if he shows he can finish blocks.

More goes into what makes a good football player, lots more. For example Mingo is tall, athletic and fast - and we've all seen how well that's worked out so far.
