My very good friend got invited to the game by a large company, he got all VIP access and got to go in the locker room when the game was done. He said the players were blaring music, dancing, and goofing off laughing. When Pettine would walk by they would hush up and turn the music down and act normal. When he would

Walk away they would go back to screwing around. He was so pissed off and disgusted he called me the next day to tell me all about it (he's a die hard Browns fan like me). He also saw Todd Gurley and Crowell hug and exchange jereys when the game was done and laugh it up on the field. This isn't fucking soccer. These guys got worked last week and they just acted like nothing happened. I don't know about you but if I got my ass kicked like that I wouldn't be laughing it up I'd be pissed. I also asked "well was it really as bad as you make it seem." He told me it was worse, that he was sick to his stomach on the flight home and disgusted. The culture hasn't changed one bit here guys. I'm all for being positive and I don't go on crazy rants but this is something you all need to know. Blow this

Tia, Thank you for this. Am 52 & still in alot of locker rooms & this shows you have been in many of them yourself. The missing factor of this story is this maybe the last time you will play the St. Louis Rams. So when Pettine hugs that other coach you know & I know that maybe the last hug they have as competitors. You also understand that music is a coach & team captain talk waitin to happen, if not happened yet & of course if it ever happened..

gumby73

Reply to Browns Locker room after the St louis Game on Fri, 30 Oct 2015 20:38:41 GMT

@<bdi>tim-couch-pulls-out</bdi> said:

Exactly... and not only New England. Every team or individual in nearly every sport.

Mark O

Reply to Browns Locker room after the St louis Game on Fri, 30 Oct 2015 14:48:24 GMT

@<bdi>stinkhole</bdi> said:

No it isn't, it's called being a good sport. Fuck that.

Exactly, it's not High School ball. Shaking hands is so High School. Grown men getting paid $$$$$ to win football games shouldn't be yucking it up and shaking hands with the enemy.

And yet it happens at the end of nearly every sporting event that is played. You all are bitching about a non issue.

Mark O

Reply to Browns Locker room after the St louis Game on Fri, 30 Oct 2015 14:42:47 GMT

@<bdi>columbusking</bdi> said:

Socializing and joking around with the players of a team that just shit on you is the definition of disrespecting the game. It clearly shows you don't care about losing and that every game is not important to you.

Hell yeah this isn't high school, cause in high school (in the OHSAA) you have to shake hands or you will get in trouble.

You really think I want to hear the other coach whisper good game and other sweet nothings in my ear? Besides the fact that these losing coaches say "good game" when it wasn't a good game cause the other team ran right through them or they weren't prepared.

Lots professional sports teams have team rules, besides the fact that the team pays them to pay, if you want to be in good standing with the people who are paying you, then you follow the rules the team makes.

So you think Belichick doesn't have control of his life? Cause he controls EVERY FUCKING THING the patriots do, not surprisingly they win.

Guess what New England does after a game, win lose or draw? They shake hands. They socialize with the other team. They smile. They don't sulk around like pussies, like you'd have your team do.

Honestly, if I were an opposing head coach, I'd be all for your idea, just to see you stomping around on the sideline like Jim Harbaugh whining and complaining and yelling at your players because you're too insecure to lose.

Tim Couch Pulls Out
