<![CDATA[The NBA team of the Decade]]>Here is something I have done for at least 3 of the major sports. Name a Team of the Decade. I post a running count here after 7 seasons of the 2010s. Here is the methodology:

10 points goes to the year's Champions, 6 points to the runnerup, 3 points to the losers of the Semifinals, and 1 point to all teams that make the playoffs but lose in the first or second round.

The point totals that you see a cumulative for all years of the decade.

Here is the current standings:

No, sorry, they have won just one title this decade and one runnerup. The Heat won twice and were runnerup twice. My Team of the Decade list is not subjective, it is objective based purely on how a team's actual performance in the playoffs, not on how good you think they are or how much you like them.

As for the Spurs, they may not be finished....but neither are the Cavs, Warriors, Thunder if Durant stays there.
