I know that is a fine line to ride but it would make the board a little less cluttered with some of the less appropriate threads. I have invited a few of my friends here and almost all of them have refused to post because of some of the more baser less substantive posts.

This is neither a full time nor a paying position.

Quite honestly, my best guess to get things back in order would be the shut the entire board down for a week. I might just suggest that to Stan.

The most annoying quality any person can have is an inability to admit when they're wrong. Like everyone, I possess some of that quality myself. But if you ask Toop, Sev, or any of the other guys I've squabbled with, they'll tell you that I'm occasionally willing to man up.

By contrast, all we've gotten in this thread is an angry backlash & complaints about how much it sucks being a moderator. Well, if it's such a burden trying to keep this board classy, then fine: we'll all put certain people on ignore and move from there.

But if it is possible for a mod to do some good here, then I imagine said moderator should serve as a good example to other posters. At least in the case of this thread, I don't see that happening.
