President Obama has informed Congress that he plans to "permanently resettle 110,000 refugees in fiscal year 2017, which begins on October 1st, with roughly half of them coming from Syria, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Burma and other jihadist hotspots where vetting of refugees is extremely difficult," as recently reported byWorld Net Daily
"That's a frightening number for many conservatives in Congress – up 29 percent from 2016 levels of 85,000 refugees, and up 57 percent from 2015 when 70,000 refugees were delivered to U.S. cities and towns. But the actual numbers will likely end up being much higher than even the president is admitting, possibly as high as 150,000 to 200,000, experts say, according toWND."

Why is the number substantially higher than the Obama administration is reporting to Congress?

Under the Refugee Act of 1980, the executive branch is permitted to allow untold numbers of refugees into our country "on student visas, health visas, expansion of the family-reunification visa and other creative methods." Congress cannot control those immigration numbers – but they can control the funding for those programs.

+ + A dangerous pattern is unfolding.

Fox News is reporting, "Of the 10,801 refugees accepted in fiscal 2016 from the war-torn country [syria], 56 are Christians, or .5 percent."

Fifty-six Christians out of 10,801 Syrian refugees that the Obama administration admitted into the United States reveals a distinct pattern of selective acceptance -99.5% were Muslims.

As we saw this past weekend in New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota, and in many other horrific attacks this year, "lone wolf" terrorist acts by radicalized Muslims in America is on the rise.
