He's required by law to get approval of the Assistant AG for whatever he is doing and the grand juries are normal investigative tools. If everyone is squeaky clean we'll never see charge one filed.</p>

<p>It's also pretty standard practice for attorneys of persons under investigation to attack the investigator.
