From SEC COUNTRY, (yes they think they are the best, just look.....but there are 6 B1G in the top 25)

The College Football Playoff rankings came out on Tuesday night and there was a new top 3, with Clemson at No. 1, Auburn at No. 2 and Oklahoma at No. 3.

This sets up a huge championship weekend. No. 1 Clemson plays No. 7 Miami in the ACC Championship Game, No. 2 Auburn meets No. 6 Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, No. 4 Wisconsin plays No. 8 Ohio State for the Big Ten title and No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 11 TCU play in the Big 12 title game.

Here are the complete rankings:

College Football Top 25, Top 4 for Week 14

1. Clemson (11-1)
2. Auburn (10-2)
3. Oklahoma (11-1)
4. Wisconsin (12-0)
5. Alabama (11-1)
6. Georgia (11-1)
7. Miami (10-1)
8. Ohio State (10-2)
9. Penn State (10-2)
10. USC (10-2)
11. TCU (10-2)
12. Stanford (9-3)

21. Northwestern (9-3)
22. Virginia Tech (9-3)
23. Mississippi State (8-4)
24. NC State (8-4)
25. Fresno State (9-3)

Just a little refresher from December 2017 in what was a very closely contended N AA D-1A race, can't wait for football to start.

1. College football with all the pagentry. 2. NFL football in all it's businesslike manner. 😆

OK, it used to be called something else....or several things else. This corporate naming rights thing is just such BS.

Just new relatively easy money streams remember the ol' Cleveland Municipal Stadium built during the depression and one name until they tore it down?

Now the Jake, well Progressive hey that's progress......I guess. So ante up and you get your name on almost anything.

Oh I heard about this before, sell or what about naming rights? Just an idea. 😉

Comedian Sarah Silverman says Pope Benedict should “sell the Vatican, feed the world.” Funny, but shouldn’t Christians seriously consider it?

“What is the Vatican worth, like $500 billion?” Silverman says on her monologue, featured on Bill Maher’s HBO show and now a

. “This is great, sell the Vatican, take a big chunk of the money, build a gorgeous condominium for you and all your friends to live in . . . and with the money left over, feed the whole f—ing world.”

Actually, selling the Vatican probably wouldn’t generate enough cash to buy the whole world lunch.

According to the AP’s Nicole Winfield, the Holy See’s real estate was worth about $900 million in 2004 — before the real estate bust. That doesn’t include St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, but even if both brought holy sites brought in another billion, that wouldn’t come close to covering it. The UN reports that poor countries get $7.9 billion in agricultural aid each year, and will need $44 billion a year by 2050........

Published on Nov. 30, 2016 the sporting news.......

There's a lot at stake in the Power 5 conference championship games this weekend.

The playoff rankings are crowded at the top, and some outsiders have a shot to get in with some upsets in this weekend's games. Washington and Clemson are in with a win, but a loss could cause some chaos. Both the Tigers (vs. No. 23 Virginia Tech) and Washington (vs. No. 8 Colorado) have tough tests, and the winner of the Big Ten title game (No. 6 Wisconsin vs. No. 7 Penn State) could possibly jump either team.Plus, a Navy win in the AAC title game could shake up the bowl bids. Right now, Western Michigan is the highest-ranked Group of 5 team and if that stands, the Broncos would head to the Cotton Bowl. But Navy, two spots behind in the rankings, has a chance to add another win to its resume after this week when it plays Army a week later. A delayed ranking could pose some trouble.

MORE: The CFP committee made a statement

Here's how to watch all of the conference championship games across college football. All times ET.

You need to update this.
