2. I thought it was Hadl but maybe the QB politician you know Jack Kemp, a guess.  Kemp won titles with the Bills in 1964 and 1965, not with Chargers.

Well....like the Browns, there is actually a debate about how the Chargers got their name.

Like with the: is it named after Paul Brown or after Joe Louis debate   the Chargers debate is about whether it got that name because Barron Hilton...Chargers owner was promoting the Carte Blanche credit card company that he owned....or whether it was named after the ubiquitous trumpet then "Charge" call that you hear at sporting events.
