I can't put my finger on why we've only won one game in the last couple of years....

Of course, the effed up part is that the guys that should be the core of this team:   First round picks from the last 6-7 years.....ONLY  those from the last two years are still on this team.

And there were at least 3-4 different FOs...all making these poor choices, involved.

Now that we have added a true FS in Randall, Peppers can go to SS where he belongs. Njoku will be fine with a QB that can actually deliver the ball, especially with a legitimate slot now in the mix. And Garrett will be fine if he and Ogbah have both fully recovered and/or if we add another edge rusher early in this draft. Coleman the jury is still out IMO. Is he a legit #2? Let's just see with an injury free year and Landry now on board with a QB that can find him. I have high hopes for Taylor to be more than a one year bridge. He's only 28 and he has been to the playoffs before.

We've been 'conditioned' to expect failure so we have a fear of optimism and the conceived inevitable letdown to follow.

Don’t know about Kaep. I was referencing the fact that they would only be worse if they had stabbed the sacred cow like Rosen. Hurt so many feelings.

Sacred Cow?

Oh yes the pressure and expectations are sky high! Will the new quarterback #28 or #29 or whenever he starts be the rookie franchise savior that leads the BROWNS to the NFL promise land?

Oh god I'm hyperventilating and it's only Friday April 13th,  OMG.

A lot of non-QBs in that list for a QB thread...

Speaking of QB lists here's an interesting one in a reddit post...

That is a list of impressive QBs. At least they didn't wear a "Fu-ck Trump" hat?

OC:  1.5   (Bednarik)

DB:  1

DE:  11

DT:  3

WR/E:  5

OT:  4

LB:  3.5  (Bednarik)

FB/HB/RB:  22

QB:  31

As highlighted earlier....of the 31 QBs taken #1....only 3 from the NFL draft had made the HOF:   Bradshaw/Elway/Aikman...plus another certain will come:  Peyton   (plus Namath from AFL)

Of the 22 RBs,   5 have made HOF:   Campbell, OJ,  Dudley, Trippi, Hornung

I give Carr and Couch passes due to major cases of NFLexpandiinitis...

Does an 0-16 team count as a case of expansionitis?

Is it a QB thread....or a #1 overall thread?  I gave it a liberal interpretation...and I edited it to fix it up a bit.
