Good short article on 5 current Brownies.

l didn’t realize Darren Fells was a former basketball player. Not that it’s unusual for a former basketball player to convert to tight end, but those who do seem to be more of the pass catching variety, and l’m pretty sure Fells was signed to be the primary blocking TE.

Very interest article on Duke Johnson buried within that one. Seems like they are expanding his receiving role and turning the running over to Hyde and Chubb. Good move!

No, what I am saying is that the Browns stink and their lack of offensive weapons and originality make any offensive line look like crap.

That was then....this is now. Browns NOW may in fact have some "lethal weapons" on offense. Hopefully they do. Landry, Gordon for a full year, hopefully CoCo will improve (not holding breath), Njoku has the innate talent to be one of the best pass catching TEs..he just has to show it. Duke out of the Backfield, big back duo of Hyde/Chubb. And hopefully a QB that is not a turnover machine.

On paper I think the Browns appear to have some fire power. But then, the OL must perform. Because while you are right....a lack of offensive weapons can make an offensive line look like crap.....a crappy offensive line can make good offensive weapons look like crap..and we do have some big questions on OL....mainly the two tackle.

And now with Haley...and not Hue calling the offensive plays, hopefully you will see more of that originality you are looking for.

I think we win 4 games outright. Any further victories will come down to pulling out games in the last 5 minutes of the 4th. Something we haven't done in years, and something we need to figure out if ever we're going to make real noise.

Most gm's for a day here wanted alex smith. that was my phone call too. maybe Alex would like dorseys weapons now vs Skins? With alex already off the board Bills traded Tyrod before they let him walk after this season. 70% of bills fans don't like the move but 16M in Tyrod beats the hell out of 16M for Brock Arss'oiler..Bills had offers https://buffalonews.com/2018/03/28/browns-coach-bills-had-multiple-offers-for-tyrod-taylor/

			a) were not Pitt.. but Haley should not fall far from 20th'ish of the pack of OC's in the league. Been top 15 since 2012..Haley's talent just has to be coachable talent that executes assignments. b) Here's Tyrod's injury history https://www.sportsinjurypredictor.com/player/tyrod-taylor/4785 care to take a look at Ben's?(click near bottom) Taylor has played 15 games/season for 3 straight seasons..has the Bills OL ever been famous for anything? maybe it's just our turn that the sky stops falling in C-town..Jaguars had no big injuries last season. Was a big part of their successful season carrying Bortles who sucks, compared to Tyrod Taylor..Taylor just won't have the advantage of practicing against that Jags D..

While all the things you say cal are perfectly accurate you missed probably our worst area of deficiency: our playcalling and head coaching. Hopefully our playcalling will improve as much as we hope our defense of back and are wide receivers and our running game will improve

I won't be surprised if the Browns go from last to top ten next year.

The 2017 Cleveland Browns had more tackles for loss or no gain on run defense than any other team in the 21st century.

The 2017 Cleveland Browns did not win a single game.

Both of those statements are true:

	 ************************************************

So, the way I see it, saw it... the Browns had qb troubles. as in, they didn't have a good one. And their wr crew was seriously lacking. Coleman lost one game. He didn't lose the entire season.

The major other problem, was that the Browns kicked rears on run defense. Again and again and again, most every game? - the Browns run defense would stop them, only to have the opposing offense easily throw for a first down. Sure, they weren't the worst secondary - but most other teams had a better passing game.

What team was it, that we had 3rd or 4th and about 30 yrds...and they COMPLETED the conversion?

So the Browns went to revamp their qb, wr, and db situation. Simple as that - they will be a very, very different team this year.

Throw last season out - they will be winning this year.
