We know Texas A&M lost to Clemson. But the Aggies put the college football world on notice by taking the defending ACC champions to the wire in a 28-26 loss. Quarterback Kellen Mond looked fantastic against that ferocious Clemson defensive line, and Kendrick Rogers looks like the next Aggies great at receiver. Jimbo Fisher looks like he has this team a lot closer to competing for a College Football Playoff than we thought, and that's why they make the top 25 even after a loss.

	Biggest move down: USC

USC was exposed early and often against a staunch Stanford defense on Saturday. JT Daniels struggled, completing less than 50 percent of his passes (16 for 34) for 215 yards and two interceptions. The Trojans couldn't get anything going on the ground either; running backs Aca'Cedric Ware and Stephen Carr combined for 111 rushing yards, but no touchdowns. Clay Helton has time to right the ship in Los Angeles, but the Trojans can't put out another stale performance with a trip to Texas looming.

No. 14 West Virginia’s game against NC State was also canceled. No. 18 UCF’s game against UNC was also nixed. A win wouldn’t have moved the needle for the Knights anyway, as wild as that is to say about a prominent ACC program.
