<p>
	The Browns were in complete rebuild mode for the beginning of that run, and they fell apart in '95 after they announced they were moving.
</p>

<p>
	That being said, Belichick himself said that he needed to be fired in Cleveland to become the HC legend he is now, but I agree with you, he needed Brady more than the other way around.
</p>

<p>
	It would have been interesting to see how the Patriots would have played out if Brady was just a typical 6th round pick, and not the GOAT. Belichick should thank his lucky stars above.

<p>
	Well let's get out the ol' magnifying glass and have a "look-see" on #12, what only a 51.9% passer on a championship caliber team? Only two 3,000 yard passing seasons in all of those years? 212 TDs and 210 INTs?   Hmmmmm.
</p>

<p>
	Actually I look at him as a decent QB who just was there to handle things.

	Wow, you almost have to break that down into eras, pre 1960s, post or maybe pre super bowl post super bowl which is looking at SB LIII holy cow 53? Some "youngsters" only know the super bowl era.
</p>

<p>
	Very quick, with some overlap, lots of personal preferences:
</p>

<p>
	1. Graham, obvious reasons  2. Unitas 3. Baugh 4. Starr 5. Van Brocklin and others if I think longer about it
</p>

<p>
	1. Montana, joe cool 2. Marino 3. Starr 4. Farve, schoolyard 5. Elway, despite not liking him 6. Honorable mention Kosar, Sipe warriors
</p>

<p>
	Future
</p>

<p>
	1. Rodgers 2. Brees 3. We'll see......    <strong>edit add 3. Just curious, you have Montana ahead of Manning, and Brees behind them both.

		<p>
			Personally, I feel like Brees is a top 3 all time QB. He plays with the stature of a 6'5" QB, and is the most accurate passer of all time.

	depends on your criteria for "greatest".
</p>

<p>
	My opinion, unless your criteria involves superbowls etc etc..
</p>

<p>
	is that Bernie Kosar was one of the most brilliant, competitive qbs to ever play the game. He would be on my list.
</p>

<p>
	Here's something interesting - Johnny Unitas...and Drew Brees...and Baker Mayfield played at the similar size.
</p>

<p>
	Unitas played at 6'1", 196 - per Wikipedia. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Unitas" rel="external nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Unitas </a>and...
</p>

<p>
	" After his collegiate career, the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pittsburgh_Steelers" title="Pittsburgh Steelers" rel="external nofollow">Pittsburgh Steelers</a> of the NFL drafted Unitas in the ninth round. However, Unitas was released before the season began as the odd man out among four quarterbacks trying to fill three spots. Steelers' head coach <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Kiesling" title="Walt Kiesling" rel="external nofollow">Walt Kiesling</a> had made up his mind about Unitas; he thought he was not smart enough to quarterback an NFL team,<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Unitas#cite_note-8" rel="external nofollow">[7]</a> and Unitas was not given any snaps in practice with the Steelers. "
</p>

<p>
	*****************************************
</p>

<p>
	Drew Brees, 6', 209. also interesting - he only received offers from two colleges...
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drew_Brees" rel="external nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drew_Brees</a>
</p>

<p>
	****************************************
</p>

<p>
	then there is our guy - Baker Mayfield. I believe Baker will end up on that greatest list.
</p>

<p>
	6'1", 215.
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Mayfield" rel="external nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Mayfield</a>
</p>

<p>
	Interesting !
</p>

<p>
	Mayfield is believed to be the first walk-on true freshman quarterback to start a season opener at the quarterback position.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Mayfield#cite_note-7" rel="external nofollow">[7]</a></p>

<p>
	<strong>In his first start against <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_SMU_Mustangs_football_team" title="2013 SMU Mustangs football team" rel="external nofollow">SMU</a>, Mayfield passed for 413 yards and four touchdowns. His 43 completions of 60 attempts broke a school record held by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Joe_Tolliver" title="Billy Joe Tolliver" rel="external nofollow">Billy Joe Tolliver</a>, and fell only four completions short of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Division_I_Football_Bowl_Subdivision" title="NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision" rel="external nofollow">NCAA Division I FBS</a> single-game record for completions by a freshman.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Mayfield#cite_note-Dodd-8" rel="external nofollow">[8]</a><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Mayfield#cite_note-FBS_p2-9" rel="external nofollow">[9]</a></strong>
