Myles Garrett expected back for the Titans game next week

Garrett, who’s tied for the NFL lead with 9.5 sacks, is expected back for the Titans game next week from his two-game absence after testing positive for COVID-19.

Garrett is feeling much better, but must first pass a cardiac screening and then work out for three days under the supervision of the Browns medical staff, with increased intensity each day, before he can participate in a full practice or play in a game. Ideally, he’d get the three days in and then be able to practice at least a few days before heading to Nashville for a game that will have AFC playoff implications.

    ... As projected.. A peek in Covid cases were coming in the fall.. Even the games stars have no protection shields from Covid..

To this point...I'd applaud the NFL league offices & players union having done some real right things... Can it Continue? ? Not with large Team* roster spreads of Covid.. another right choice imho...If we have to wait till a Tuesday night game to see a better roster'd team? So be it!!

We might not see 17 weeks of NFL football? But, we'll see a great finish to this season (somehow) ...book it!!

A bubble playoff scenario might be the only way we see the season play out.

Yeah- this epidemic is spiraling out of control. There's no margin for error anymore to reschedule with the byes out of the picture. Why they're either going to have to add a week to the end of the season for makeup games, or possibly call the whole thing off until playoff time, and freeze the standings. Hey- in that case- we make the playoffs.

FWIW,  NFL players are certainly getting priority testing...

I do agree healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, and then us old folks to the head of the vaccine line.... Just sayin' though- it wouldn't shock me if the NFL buys their way to the top of the list.

Sure....maybe this situation will tell us what "professions"  or statuses  this society truly prioritizes.   Nevertheless....would you want to wager  against these well paid athletes being among the first to receive the vaccination?

They can, that does not mean they will want to, or in fact will.....

While things may be more equitable in the near future,  I still do not see things changing so drastically in a short time where the wealthy and the privileged will no longer be given priority.

I have a bad feeling that is where we are headed.
