FIFY... Job 1 is get in position. Can't wrap if you are reaching.

His fundamentals are so bad it's hard to believe he started for a premier program. Maybe he was a good enough athlete to get away without them at the DIV 1 level, but no more... game's too fast to do that... especially with his 40 time (4.71 hand timed at Pro Day with a 1.63 10-yd split).

That said his 3-cone wasn't terrible at 7.20, but no one is going to mistake him for Shazier (6.91 3-cone ; 4.38 40-yd with a 1.56 10-yd split).

And for comparison sake... Phillips posted a 4.62 hand-time with a 1.61 10-yd split... but only a 7.38 3-cone.

There are more edge rushers and LBs with edge rushing capability this year than true LBs. I was encourage by what I saw from Phillips. And I have not given up on Wilson yet. If he's teachable all that speed can be converted into a true tackler and not a billiard ball with no arms. Someone needs to spend the offseason teaching him form tackling. He often gets there but doesn't wrap up.

My heart breaks for Vernon, who played himself into a likely extension with us. We also will have difficulty replacing him in the draft because edge rushers go QUICKLY, and doing it via free agency is expensive and generally a toss up.

I don’t care about Jim Sorgi. Or whatever his name was. 
I was at the double OT game against the Jets. I was also at the 1994 game against the Patriots. 
 

It doesn’t matter what game you were at. Or what or where or how you watched a certain game

It only matters on how the team plays that day

No offense to Sudfeld but 3rd string/PS type QBs grow on trees.  There is tape on him he’s not a rookie.

I took no issue with it.  We got Sorgied in 2007 so the Colts could rest.  The last week of the season always brings about weird circumstances- don’t let it come down to it. Deep down do the Giants really want to see Danny Dimes go out there and try to play QB in the playoffs?
