Sad- the lady that got killed was "woke" actually more like "programmed". Yeah- that's what I find pretty hard to fathom- how easy it was for Trump to brainwash millions of Americans- (and there's some on this Forum) with his constant lies. 

I'll close with this thought. Those "patriots" (anarchists) who in their Trump addled brains actually believed they were fighting for Democracy and Freedom. If they had succeeded, they would have wound up with neither.

I will eternally remember 2020 as the “where is the outrage?!?” year, which is kinda fucked up because it was already a year fraught with difficulty and turmoil.
 

Yet seemingly every day on social media l would run across a post with the caption, “where is the outrage?!?” Invariably it would be an instance of a black person harming a white person, or some other awful thing that would piss most anyone off. But the person posting it was somehow under the impression that not enough people were pissed off about it, so they were actively seeking other pissed off people to revel in each others pissed offedness.

That’s wierd as fuck if you think about it. Seeking comfort in knowing what pisses you off also pisses other people off.

Manufactured indeed, and we allow ourselves to do it to each other. 

It’s one of my theories on why 2020 was such a drag. We spent too much focus on the stuff we dislike instead of the stuff that brings us joy. Let’s not fall into that trap again.
