Looks like we're done.

Joe Burrow is light years beyond Baker Mayfield in only his second year....and coming off a torn ACL/MCL. Joe actually knows how to use a great receiver, and make that great receiver even greater. Baker lowers the quality of his receivers through piss poor decision making and a general lack of talent. It figures, just as Big Ben retires now we have to deal with Burrow for 15  years most likely.

Oh well, there's always next year.....or the year after next.

Hate to agree with this. OBJ who didn't score a TD here this season has been doing so weekly with the Rams and it's not just on Baker but Stefanski who couldn't make it work between them.

And please tell Baker to have his surgery now, and get 1\2 a month head start on his rehab.  We're only playing for draft position now...

It makes zero sense to trot out your injured QB for two more meaningless games instead of just shutting him down and getting the surgery done with, and get his rehabbing started asap.

So trotting Baker out for the last two meaningless games is exactly what I expect the Browns to do, because we all know how the Cleveland Browns do.

Joe Burrow is light years beyond Baker Mayfield in only his second year....and coming off a torn ACL/MCL. Joe actually knows how to use a great receiver, and make that great receiver even greater. You don’t call an all out blitz on 3rd and 27 either

Is Hue Jackson calling plays?

You can’t tell me the nfl didn’t prop burrow up right into the playoffs. Fucking Christ even burrow is cracking jokes about it.

Chargers, please beat Denver and rightfully put this Browns season out of its misery.

How I feel if im being honest as well.

If and likely when the Chargers win today, it will be nothing short of irresponsible to play Mayfield the last two weeks of the season. Even if his tenure in Cleveland is over (which I doubt will be the case), he does nothing to not have earned a shit ton of respect as a Browns player. Respect don’t win football games, but it matters.

At this point, I’m with #6 and bringing back a lot of this core next season. Prioritize upgrading the WR (even if this means Landry moves on) and interior Dline. Focus on trying to get Clowney back and hope injuries don’t wang us as hard.

Last, coach needs to get his head out of his butt on some critical decisions. He could quickly turn into a Matt Nagy with letting his arrogance of his way or the highway. I still believe in the dude strongly, but needs to get back to what made this team so successful in 2020.

Stefanski should give up the play calling. He is too wrapped up in that play sheet, he doesn’t see the entire game at times
