And a bit about me. I'm an Ale fan and I'm into ornate historic pubs.  I enjoy most sports and am a fan of Leeds United who I've seen play all over England, Europe and round the world in some wierd and wonderful places Australia, China , Thailand and Russia are just four examples. Musically I'm a fan of Motorhead who I saw 25 times and I now follow a good tribute band called Motorheadache. Work wise, I left school when I was 16 and learnt my trade in the local train factory building and repairing trains. since I started work almost 40 years ago I've built buses, railway wagons and kitchen and bathroom furniture and am now back in a railway works in the wheel shop re-profiling wheels on the wheel lathe or pulling wheels off axcles on the drop rig in  Doncaster which is a short commute from my home city.

Hey BF92 glad to see that you are now an on-board  The BROWNS BOARD  Member.   Hope to see you around a lot more as the 2023 season rolls out.    We also have revived  The TRIBE BOARD   just in time for them for the newly named Cleveland GUARDIANS to win the American League Central last year.

And the ESPN and later snoops board I've been mjp28 there going way back.  Plus Coyote,  Marvin and a few more are hanging around here.  

This is a pretty cool board and you should like it here.  Steve is our big cheese ( Westside Steve)  and John ( Zombo )  can help you out with anything along with me or Larry or Woody.   Have fun.

I'm pretty sure I went on a hiatus from Snoopys board over some stupid thing and then eventually lost track of it.  I tried searching for it a few times but to no avail.  Luckily mjp emailed recently and here I am.

I love the Browns. 

I hate the Steelers... much more than the Ravens.

I love good restaurants, especially classic independents. 

I hate pretentious restaurants with inflated prices and small portions.  

I'm cool with everybody... black, white, gay, trans, etc... 

But... I go by the pronouns "fuck off" and "do I look like a sex change?" And if "they" don't like it, "it" can kiss my ass. ?

I love craft beer, Tequila and Mezcal, especially Mezcal.

Let me see if I can summarize the younger, kinder, gentler Ghoolie.  In between Sundays, he needed to make sure he committed enough sins to go to confession.  That being the case, he gently took 1 lunchbox a day from another kid at the bus stop while politely rotating different kids on different days.  Just so other kids didn't feel left out, he took lunch money from the richer kids to make the less fortunate feel more fortunate.  If anyone wore any Pittsburgh Steeler stuff, he made sure they were the first ones to hear "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SANTA CLAUS YOU FOCKTARDS!"   For what it's worth, I just learned that 2 years ago and I'm still having trouble getting over it. 

You are right Flugs this is some epic stuff between heaven and earth alright.   And a very ahhhh interesting sitcom indeed.  Those were some very memorable days for those of us that were there for the late 50s and into the mid and late 60s when the new St. Anne's church in Austintown began mass in 1966.   They also went on to have a very fine grades 1-8 school, (1966-2005).   Holy Trinity certainly did grow.   And now with the decline in population and schools in the valley did decline to just Holy Trinity and St Anne's churches now. 

During the growth periods they still had the best pyrogies ever, some good festivals, Rose Lake,  of course BINGO, and other church activities. 

That indeed would be an interesting American sitcom.

Just for you Holy Trinity and St Anne's church historians here the church acquired the Rose Lake property in the 1960s and had the first mass in 1966 in which the parishioners were split a bit for territories.  We had 5 boys 3 Holy Trinity and the youngest 2 were St Anne's which could be confusing.  

Ironically and before I ever knew my wife she and her parents now went to St Anne's.  When her dad retired from US Steel with 40 years in maintenance he became the janitor and super supreme handyman for 13 years at St Anne's.  I also worked with him my last 6 years at USS as a maintenance foreman with him, an outstanding electrical, foreman.   Yes I knew him BEFORE I ever met his youngest daughter all by coincidence.

We could use a few new  The Browns Board  members,  that's the lifeblood of any Board or Forum.

And of course it's up to TBB Staff  to encourage and monitor the growth and health of the board.

Now it would also help if our Cleveland Browns could put a good team on the field to keep things moving along.
